1920 - Yasujiro Tanges forms the Tange Manufacturing Co., to produce bicycle forks.
1950 - Facilities move to Hokujo-Cho, Sakai City. Fuji Metal Industries Ltd. formed as an affiliated company.
1951 - Manufacture and sales of bicycle-specific butted tubing begins.
1957 - Company is renamed Tange Industries Ltd., and moves to expanded facilites in Nanjo-Cho. Sakai City.
1958 - Tange receives JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) certification as a fork producer.
1961 - Production of tubing products for non-bicycle use begins.
1963 - Production facilities move to Otori Higashi-Machi, Sakai City.
1965 - Innovative manufacturing processes introduced to fork production for the first time.
1967 - Head office moves to Otori Higashi-Machi, Sakai City. President and founder Yasujiro Tange retires. Tamotsu Tange becomes president.
1974 - Total frame components productions begins for seat stays, chain stays, dropouts, lugs and headsets.
1979 - Tange Seiki Ltd. is established as an independent company for the manufacture of headsets.
1980 - Founder Yasujiro Tange passes away.
1984 - Introduction of high-performance Prestige chrome-moly double-butted racing tubes.
1985 - Introduction of Infinity smooth double-butted chrome-moly tubes.
1987 - Introduction of ultra-lightweight Prestige Superlite racing tubing and Fusion epoxy composite materials fork.
1988 - Tamotsu Tange named chairman. Yasuhiro Tange named president. Tange USA Corporation established.
1989 - Introduction of Fusion-II epoxy composite materials fork. Tange Taiwan established.
1990 - Shenzhen Tange (China) established.
1991 - Introduction of Prestige Ultimate tubing. Introduction of Shockblades suspension fork. Tange Europe AG established.
1992 - Tange Industries Ltd. is renamed Tange Inc.
1995 - Introduction of suspension forks.
1997 - Japan Tange sale for world market. Senzhen Tange Produce Position
1998 - Tange USA closed.
1999 - Tange Europe closed.
2003 - Shenzhen Tange (China) closed.
2004 - Tange Taiwan re-established.
2006 - Tange Europe re-established.
